Privacy policy & house rules
What we store
- Your nickname and your password (stored only as an irreversible hash).
- A hashed recovery code. We do not ask for an email address, phone number or real name.
- Your gender and date of birth. Other users only see your gender and your age – never the date itself.
- Your “about me” text, if you write one. Everyone in the chat can read it, and you can change or delete it at any time.
- Your room messages – deleted automatically after 24 hours.
- Your private messages – deleted automatically after 7 days.
- When you were last online and in which room, to show the online list.
- Failed login attempts with the IP address, for protection against password guessing – deleted after 24 hours.
We do not store your location. We use one technically necessary cookie to keep you logged in. No tracking, no advertising cookies.
Reports
If someone reports a message, a copy of that message is kept for the moderators even after the automatic deletion. Moderators can read only reported private messages, never other private conversations.
Deleting your account
In the chat, open the menu under your nickname and choose “Delete account”. Your account, messages and private conversations are removed immediately. Reports about you remain for moderation.
House rules
- 18+ only.
- No harassment, threats, hate, spam or advertising.
- No sharing other people's private data.
- Moderators may delete messages and ban accounts.
